90 Day Treatment
An extended length of treatment at a residential drug and alcohol rehab greatly increases your
chances of lasting sobriety. A recent study revealed that the rate of relapse
dramatically decreased for people who stayed in treatment for 90 days or more. Historically,
a 30 day treatment plan became the norm due to arbitrary insurance protocols,
and therefore not based around the goal of creating lasting sobriety. The Los
Angeles Times recently highlighted this phenomenon calling it the “The 30 Day
Myth”.
